Managers from HMCgroup became members of EACH

Managers from HMCgroup have become members of international association for communication in healthcare EACH

Specialists from HMCgroup have been cooperating with EACH association for three years since their  active participation at Basle conference. Last year was presented COMM-ON-LINE project at Oslo conference and at the end of 2008 Lubomír Exner, Marcela Kousalíková and Pavla Pikardová became official EACH members.

EACH (http://www.each.eu/) - European Association for Communication in Healthcare - is an interdisciplinary organisation which brings together researchers, trainers and health professionals in the field of communication who all acknowledge the necessity of high quality communication in healthcare.

 Its main objectives are to facilitate the exchange of ideas and products of teaching and research activities across a network of individuals and institutions in Europe and beyond. EACH is associated with the scientific journal Patient Education and Counseling. At this moment the impact factor of the journal is almost 1.8.

The tEACH Network for Teachers is the Teaching Committee of EACH focused on support among teachers of communication in healthcare. The purpose of tEACH is to provide networking and resources for teachers of communication skills across Europe.

Initial meeting of tEACH subcommittee is scheduled for May 2009, Pavla Pikardová will participate as a member of tEACH on behalf of HMCgroup.
